Joined Jul 12, Messages 5. I have a Ted Williams 7. I'm trying to replace the prop shaft oil seal. I removed the bottom cap from the gear housing and started to drive out the roll pins from the bevel gear on the prop shaft, according to my service manual. But I was only able to drive it part way until it stopped. And now I can not rotate the prop shaft, because I assume the roll pin is hitting the case.

So, I cannot drive the roll pin back in either. How do I resolve this problem without destroying something? I suppose I could drill out the roll pin. But is there a better way?
